We are seeking a talented and creative Landscape Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape architecture and design, with a strong ability to bring client visions to life. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and our project management team to develop and implement comprehensive, aesthetically pleasing, environmentally sustainable, and cost-effective landscape designs.


 

Job Responsibilities

  • Create innovative landscape designs using software tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs.
  • Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences, conducting site evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop project timelines and budgets, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Incorporate sustainable practices and materials into designs, promoting eco-friendly solutions.
  • Work closely with the construction team to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepared and presented design proposals and renderings to clients, incorporating their feedback into revisions.
  • Ensure designs comply with local regulations, zoning laws, and environmental guidelines.
  • Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits during installation to monitor progress and address any issues.


 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in landscape design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing previous landscape design projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with local plant species, landscape materials, and sustainable design practices.
  • Licensure or certification in Landscape Architecture is a plus.
